Trynews is an AI-assisted curation and synthesis site, not a wire service or a newsroom with reporters in the field. We identify stories gaining attention across India and globally, then use Anthropic's Claude models to produce a structured summary and analysis for each one. We don't send anyone to the scene and we don't claim firsthand newsgathering โ see our full About page for the complete picture.
Trynews is founded and edited by Arvind Rocky, who designed the site's editorial pipeline and is personally responsible for it โ what topics get covered, how the five-part article structure works, and what happens when something needs correcting. There is no separate editorial board or staff; accountability for this site sits with one named, reachable person, not an anonymous "editorial team."
An automated pipeline scans public news feeds for topics clearing our relevance and freshness checks. For each one, Claude drafts a structured article โ background, key facts, the different sides of the debate, and forward-looking context โ which publishes automatically, without a human editor reading every individual article before it goes live. This is a deliberate tradeoff of an hourly, high-volume publishing pace against per-article human review, and we'd rather state it plainly than imply a review process that doesn't happen.
What a human does control: the system design itself โ the prompts, the five-part structure, which topics and sources are eligible, and the site's ongoing corrections process. That's a different kind of oversight than fact-checking each story before publication, and we want that distinction to be clear rather than blurred.
Articles are drafted from trending-topic signals and public context, not verified against primary sources before publishing. Figures, dates, and claims should be treated as a starting point for your own research, not a final source. The "Likely Viewpoints" section in every article is illustrative โ it models how different sides of a debate would plausibly argue their position โ and is not a transcript of anything a named person actually said, unless the article explicitly links a source such as an interview or press release.
Editorial decisions โ which topics run, how they're structured, what gets corrected โ are made by the site's editor, not by advertisers or ad partners. Trynews currently runs no sponsored content or paid placements; ad slots reserved in the page layout are for standard display advertising (see About). If that ever changes, any paid or sponsored content will be clearly labeled as such, not blended into regular coverage.
Every Trynews article credits a real, named person โ Arvind Rocky โ with a public bio page describing his role and how the site's pipeline works. We don't publish under placeholder bylines like "Staff Writer" or "Admin."
