I started Trynews because most news coverage online is the same story rewritten in slightly different words by a dozen different sites, none of them actually explaining what's going on. Trynews is built to do the opposite: take a trending story and actually explain it — what happened, who it affects, the different sides of the debate, and what's likely to happen next — instead of just rewording a headline someone else already published.
That's the whole premise behind the site's five-part format (Happenings, Effects, Likely Viewpoints, After Effects, The Whole Picture) on every story: real structure and analysis, not a copy-paste rewrite dressed up as original coverage.
I designed and oversee Trynews's editorial pipeline, which is AI-assisted — it scans trending topics, drafts each article into that five-part structure, and publishes automatically, hourly, in English and Hindi, built on Anthropic's Claude models. I'm responsible for that system and for the site overall: what gets covered, how it's structured, and making corrections when something's wrong.
